Perry, Shorr nominated for Business Angels Award

Jon M. Perry, owner of Print Zoom, and Veronica Shorr, regional director of Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma, have been nominated for the 2020 Arizona Business Angels Award.

The award recognizes, honors and brings together Arizona’s nonprofit community with the corporate leaders who support them. The nomination comes after Print Zoom partnered with the ACF for the #YumaStrong togetherness campaign.

The virtual awards ceremony will take place on Nov 5.

Junior Hinkle celebrates 20 years with airport

Junior Hinkle, chief financial officer, recently celebrated his 20th anniversary with the Yuma International Airport. The organization described him as a “wonderful team member and a strong leader for our airport, and it isn’t just in the world of finance expertise. He is a trusted, competent, dedicated and ready to take on tasks assigned even if it means learning something new.”

The airport noted that his commitment to providing the “most excellent service is admirable and modeled. Junior contributes his time and goes out his way … A true champion for our community airport, he knows how important each person is.”

“My success at the airport and in life would not be possible without my amazing wife, Michelle, and my two sons, Jake and Wyatt,” Hinkle said.
